Six teams earned Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) academic awards that include Outstanding Award (team GPA 3.5-4.0) for girls JV volleyball and the Distinguished Award (team GPA 3.0 – 3.49) for girls varsity volleyball, boys and girls varsity cross country, girls JV and varsity soccer.

The Strikers, a Granite Falls U-12 Girls team took first place in their division with a 10-0 undefeated season. The girls were coached by Shaun and Ryan Murphy. The Granite Falls Thunderbirds, a U11 girls soccer team, just finished a perfect season, undefeated 10-0-0.
