School begins Wednesday, Sept. 8 for Granite Falls’ students in grades one through nine.
Students in grades 10-12 will begin school Thursday, Sept. 9 to allow for freshman students to participate in the LINK orientation on Sept. 8.
Crossroads Alternative High School opens Monday, Sept. 13 and preschool/ECEAP begins Monday, Sept. 20.
All school offices are currently open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for new student and kindergarten registration.

Kindergarten students begin school Friday, Sept. 10. Kindergarten parent orientation for both Mountain Way and Monte Cristo Elementary Schools will be held Wednesday, Sept. 8, 6 p.m. and kindergarten visitation day is Thursday, Sept. 9, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Granite Falls School District Board of Directors meets the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. with the exceptions of July and August, which will be the third Wednesday of the month only. All meetings will be held at the Administration Office Building located at 307 N. Alder Ave in Granite Falls.
All regular and special Board meetings are open to the public. All actions authorized or required by law are taken at these meetings. The Board may meet in executive (closed) sessions to discuss matters dealing with personnel, property consideration or employee negotiations. All formal actions are taken in public sessions. You are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The Granite Falls School District offers free and reduced-price lunch and breakfast for children who qualify according to the eligibility standards for meals served under the National School Lunch and/or School Breakfast Programs.
Each school and the administration office have a copy of the guidelines and application, which may be requested by any interested party.
