A Little Bit of Home for the Holidays makes the holiday season for deployed military men and women much warmer. 

The holiday season can be a lonely time of the year for our young military men and women who are deployed overseas.

“A Little Bit of Home for the Holidays” is a partnership project between the Lake Stevens Auxiliary and the Family Center and will gratefully accept appropriate personal and non-perishable items that will be shipped to actively deployed American soldiers in Iraq, Afghanistan and other far away places.

Please help by donating to these holiday “we care” packages - delivered in the spirit of the holidays to those who give so much for so many.

Some of the items that can be accepted include:
• Personally written notes of “thanks” and/or “holiday wishes”
• Hard candy (Please no chocolate - it will melt before reaching its destination)
• Beef Jerky
• Socks
• Magazines
• Playing Cards
• Deodorant
• Small (pocket size) mementos of home
