Mundell has been competing on Evening Magazine’s You’ve Got Talent, a show that features talented individuals from the Northwest that have the opportunity to win an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas and a spot on America’s Got Talent.
Mundell is a local singer songwriter who’s soulful voice and catchy lyrics kept him in the competition till the end. The competition started with dozens of contestants, Mundell worked his way to the top, clenching a spot in the final three.
Mundell had been called Lake Stevens’s version of Glee’s Finn. A good looking athlete who trades it all in for the stage. Mundell played football, soccer and basketball for Lake Stevens High School but chose the musical path after a performance in the high school’s Mr. LSHS competition.
“Once I did that (Mr. LSHS), that was kind of the whole turning point. I knew this is what I wanted to do and I was going to give up all my sports for it,” Mundell stated in an interview with New Day Northwest.
Soon Mundell started starring in roles on stage. During his Junior year at LSHS he played the lead in the musical “Some Like It Hot.” During his senior year Mundell played Gaston in “ The Beauty and the Beast.”
Currently, Mundell is working on recording songs to build an album, working and taking classes at Everett Community College.
